300 Million Dollars Australian Summer Starts Tomorrow At Optus, Perth — BGT 24

300 Million Dollars Australian Summer Starts Tomorrow At Optus, Perth — BGT 24

Practice sessions done, press conferences done, photoshoots done, team meetings done — everything is done before the kickstart of the most awaited and crucial Border-Gavaskar series getting ready to get underway at the Optus, Perth right from 22nd November 2024.

As we all know, India, the current title holder has just lost at their den against the comparatively weak side of Newzealand with star performers turning out to be a proper flop show resulting in India’s depleted chances of qualifying for the WTC final for the 3rd straight time, is now at the Australian shores to safeguard their legacy of defeating Australia in their backyard in the past 7 years.

On the other hand, Kangaroos are quite hungry to get back the trophy which they haven't had in their cabinet for the past 10 years because it’s India who has won the last 4 editions of the iconic Border-Gavaskar Trophy but this time with no quality middle order batsmen and less experienced bowling attack the baggy greens are smelling some hot blood near themselves so it's expected that they are gonna come hard at India.

Match Day Minus 1 Optus Stadium , Perth

Last time when we were here Rahane & co brought so many laurels to the country after completely turning the tiles from the Adelaide horror to Brisbane’s miracle which was led by the likes of Rishabh Pant, Shardul Thakur and Washington Sundar but this year things are slightly bad for Team India — Firstly they will miss the services of Mohammed Shami who is completely out from the cricketing world after that marvellous Cricket World Cup campaign in 2023. Reportedly he has undergone heel surgery before this year and is now rehabbing at NCA, he is expected to join the team at the backend of the tour but still, it's not a guarantee that he will return Secondly we are also missing our ace batters like Pujara and Rahane because selectors have decided to go beyond them now and here we are with our young comrades to fight the Aussies in torrential conditions of Perth.

If we see this series from the economic point then it is said to be believed that Cricket Australia is surely going to earn some big monies from this tour which is very evident from the kind of marketing they are doing for this tour.

It is expected that Cricket Australia will generate a revenue of 300 million dollars from this tour which will completely set up the summers for them this time making Border-Gavaskar Trophy bigger than the ‘ Ashes’ in terms of money and marketing. All set and done it will be interesting to see who will make the most out of this series India or Australia.

Live Broadcast Of The Series will be on the Star Sports network on TV and Disney Plus Hotstar on digital devices. Set your alarms from tomorrow onwards because its time now for some real cricket , Test Cricket !
